Is editing posts enabled for higher reputation?

Currently editing posts is not enabled, that is the functionality I still need to work on, since it is in beta it is not a big deal, it'll take me about a week to add editing posts functionality, now I have a question for the community:
Should we allow the edition of the postings? - I mean, a question's meaning can change drastically if edited, or, if a "history" is available, what is the best way to implement such functionality?

editing works well for SO atleast - people comment on the question, the asker clarifies their question, and responders modify theirs. You could show a history of changes, but that is a lot more work.

That's my point. I've seen countless of times that a question in SO is "modified" and 60% of the answers relate to a subject that has changed so much that it does not make sense anymore.
In a perfect world, where everyone updated their responses to accommodate changes in the original question this would be desirable, I find this confusing in SO and sometimes plain misleading...

yeah and then an answer gets marked down because it is no longer relevant.
Still, I think the benefits outweigh this.
If you really want to avoid this atleast the question asker should be able to edit their post soon after in case of errors.

Right, maybe give them a time window for changes... that would not be hard to implement and the SysAdmin, can always go and fix things for good in the worst case..
